Laura has completed advanced training in complex trauma and offers individual therapy to adults.

Her therapeutic approach is relational and client-centered, emphasizing a trauma-informed framework.

I work primarily with adults and young adults. I offer individual therapy for a variety of concerns including stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief and loss, and relationship difficulties. I have particular interest in helping clients address attachment, relational, and developmental trauma. I believe that the process of therapy can help us reconnect to our own wisdom and strength.

As a therapist, I am relational, client-centered, and trauma-informed. I strive to create a safe and comfortable environment so that you can freely explore what you most want for yourself in the present moment. With respect and curiosity, we can examine what past experiences, unresolved emotions, and ways of relating are getting in the way. I utilize mindfulness, psychoeducation, self-compassion, and resource-oriented interventions.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois. I received my master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2019. While completing my degree, I trained at Hartgrove Behavioral Health Hospital providing individual, family, and group therapy services. Since then, I have worked with individuals in private practice settings.

I have advanced clinical training from the Neuroaffective Relational Model Training Institute in working with complex trauma. I received my certificate as a NARM Therapist in 2022.
